I haven't used them as of yet, but the fit is good. I'm only 4'9", so the low rise fit correctly on my hips. Regular chaps are too long on top.

I love my new chaps!

I ordered a medium, and had to shorten the length, am 5’4, 28 inseam, and it worked great. Love the low rise look, and the thighs straps to adjust the fit.

I bought these for my wife, as she is a rider herself. I helped her adjust the back laces to fit her thighs, when tightening the laces, one lace ripped due to the leather being weak in a certain section of the lace (which is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5). I bought red leather laces at Hobby Lobby to replace the old ones. These chaps catch a lot of eyes, especially with colored laces. My wife said they are comfortable, the low rise up front doesn’t rest on your waistline, therefore they don’t rub on your belt buckle, which would also be convenient for girls that like to wear big buckles. The extra length past the zipper and last button is very convenient, we cut the chaps to size without having to shorten the zipper or move buttons. These were a great gift for her, she absolutely loved the way she looked in them and they are different from any ordinary chaps. Although they have no pockets, that was no problem for her.
