It's a nice summer coat

It's a nice summer coat, I took out of the box on Wednesday and road with on Thursday morning, with cooler temps in the morning I left the liner in then after lunch when it was warmer took the liner out and had good airflow. for the money this is a respectable coat, with armor.

The jacket itself appears to be decent quality

The jacket itself appears to be decent quality. It is sized very small. We had to return it. I normally would wear 2xl. Purchased this size. I could not bend my arms fully because the sleeves were too tight. They pinched in at the forearm. I removed the liner and it was better. If you wear a 2x and it is snug at all, buy a 4xl

Great hot weather jacket!

I am very happy with the jacket! I needed a jacket that would allow me to ride in comfort in the summer heat in southeastern NC and this does the job. The mesh allows extremely good ventilation. The removable liner seems fine but I have other jackets for cool weather.
The sizing seems true. It is a short style jacket so it stops at the waist. The shoulder padding is probably not very protective but it is quite comfortable and should be sufficient. The elbow padding is more substantial and makes the sleeve a little tight with arms bent but not a problem. My goal was to have a jacket for surviving the extreme summer heat while providing sufficient protection and visibility, and this absolutely meets the need. I recommend it!
